It’s looking at how the deal fits into their bigger goals, whether it’s to get market shares, access new tech, or create synergies that boost the bottom line. In short, it's about understanding the "why" behind some of the most transformative moves companies can make. 

Why I Want to Do It:

M&A is the ultimate chess match in business strategy, a single wrong move can severely damage both companies, which is why identifying and realizing synergies is critical to ensuring the deal creates value rather than destroying a piece. I’m drawn to the complexity of these deals, as they require balancing financial analysis with a deep understanding of market dynamics. Crafting an M&A insights lets me explore how companies make bold, high-stakes moves to transform their market position and maybe even lets me to capitalise on their opportunities.
